Taste Test: Soda Marinade Series: Part 3

We now conclude our tour of soda marinades. Last stop: A&W Sauce.

Part 1

Part 2

Surprisingly, I'd say the A&W was the least offensive of the three marinades. Not that it still wasn't bad. Thanks to my helper tasters Steanso, Paul, Erin, and especially Ryan for braving all three!

Ryan has ordered me a secret gift set that should provide an entire summer's worth of tasting adventures. You are in for a treat and I am....probably not.

I'm going to go a step further and say that I think the A&W Sauce was better tasting then most major BBQ sauce brands (K.C. Masterpiece, I'm looking at you).

Not saying that I'd pick it up over Rudy's Sause.

Can't wait to see what the summer brings.

Paul and Erin got off way too easy if they got something that tasted like legitimate food after the rest of us got to eat vomit chicken on prior attempts! By the way, I still think that the Dr Pepper chicken was probably made especially bad by virtue of the fact that it was marinated for like 8 hours too long...

I'm ok with giving the 7up a try...if you want to prepare it...
